TTAWU8T1: Magical Stone

I recently found this group, #TributeToAwesomeness. Its creators are working on a fan manga about characters from Studio Ghibli movies, and they're allowing for group members to participate and give ideas and such by giving out member tasks in their weekly updates.
So anyway, this is my entry for Task 1 from their TTAWU 8: "Design a dark blue stone, raw or polished, without any other ornaments. No necklaces, pendants, or bracelets." _{(It's also supposed to have strong magic, that's mentioned in earlier WUs)}



1. Stone in full color; 1._1. front/back, 1._2. side view (on the right: possible sizes in mm or relative proportions if stone size-shifts)

2. Disguised Stone: Containing such strong magic, in the course of Time the magical stone has developed (to a certain level) a will of its own. Therefore it can choose whom to serve and remain hidden from anyone else by taking the form of a pebble. Its small size and unimpressing looks conceil its true nature very well since not too many know that great power can sometimes be found in the smallest of things. (Note: I'm not too good at drawing, what I meant it to look like was something like this.)

3. Possible glowing patterns:
3._1. This was supposed to resemble a "swirling mist"-like kind of glow. _{(And I messed that one up too...)} It happens sometimes when it's recently been used / when it's about to be used / just like that. If one looks at it, they can gradually stop feeling/hearing/seeing anything else and begin to feel like they're being sucked in and falling into the depths of the stone. It has a kind of hypnotic effect that can result in loss of focus and balance, as well as headaches afterward. (So try not to fall for it while you're standing on a high ledge or something. ) It's like a glimpse of the Stone's true power and can be a kind of a test from it. _{(But if it has decided that you're not worthy and you keep using it and expriencing it's effects, you might end up with a mental disorder.)} (drawn b&w)
3._{2., 3., 4.} are other possible patterns, some can be connected to particular elements and uses of the Stone. Patterns can shift continuously. (drawn b&w and reversed; although I guess 3._2. could work both ways)
